We are excited to welcome the Asian Pediatric Interventional Pulmonology Association (APIPA), new member society of the WABIP. The APIPA is represented by Dr. Liu Xicheng.

Asian Pediatric Interventional Pulmonology Association (APIPA) was founded in July , 2017 by Prof. Mohammad Ashkan Moslehi from School of Medicine, Shiraz University (Iran), Prof. Liu Xicheng from Beijing Children’s Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University (China ), and Meng Chen from Qilu Children’s Hospital of Shandong University (China).

APIPA is dedicated to foster communication among interventional pulmonologists and standardize training, by means of conferences, hands-on workshops, fellowship, further study, online learning and so on, so as to promote pediatric interventional pulmonology in Asia and the rest of the world.
