Dear WABIP members and all readers,

On 28 October this year, we held our first web-conference Board of Regents’ meeting of the WABIP. With participants from 6 countries online and a further 2 present in person, it was a great success which truly reflected the globalized pace of expansion that our organization continues to enjoy, for the benefit of patients worldwide.

Many thanks indeed to Professor Ken Takamatsu, MD, Dean of the Medical School of Toho University here in Tokyo, for his kind words at this historic event.
