• Learning Objectives:
  1. Perform safe, systematic flexible bronchoscopy with appropriate diagnostic sampling, specimen handling and complication management.
  2. Stage the mediastinum systematically with EBUS-TBNA and obtain tissue adequate for molecular testing.
  3. Choose the right guided-bronchoscopy platform for the peripheral nodule and perform radial EBUS and transbronchial cryobiopsy safely.
  4. Manage central airway obstruction with rigid bronchoscopy, debulking and airway stenting, and select patients for bronchoscopic lung volume reduction.
  5. Use thoracic ultrasound and medical thoracoscopy to diagnose and manage pleural disease, including malignant effusion, pleural infection and pneumothorax.
