You are invited to our next ZOOM webinar in which we will review state-of-the-art navigation options.

In the lectures the current state-of-the-art of the available navigation options will be reviewed. The clinical applicability, indications and contra-indications for performing navigation bronchoscopy, risk of malignancy assessment will be reviewed and discussed. Since the outcome of your procedure is a result of a multidisciplinary team effort specific lectures will address the key issues in anesthesiology, pathology work-up, and, pre- and post procedure care.

Following these lectures we will present several pre-recorded cases where we illustrate our routine CBCT based navigation procedures with currently available tools including radial endobronchial ultrasound mini probe based imaging, cone beam computed tomography and augmented fluoroscopy based navigation, rapid on-site evaluation of cytopathology and different biopsy and tissue sampling tools and methodologies. Each case will be followed by an interactive Q&A.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completion of the webinar, the participant is able to:

  • Identify patients suitable for navigation bronchoscopy.
  • Design a clinical work-up that should enable a navigation bronchoscopy program.
  • Distinguish the different navigation guidance techniques, pro’s and con’s.
  • Interpret navigation technique results and draw conclusions.
Advised experience levels for this webinar: experience in diagnostic bronchoscopy, including fluoroscopy guided transbronchial biopsy and TBNA
